Band Instrument Rentals and Sales

Most band instruments rent for $39 for our rent to own program is: 3 months with 3 rentals (9 months) applicable to the purchase price (used or new) if, and when you decide to buy (no obligation).

Our rental fees have not changed in over 30 years and are payable by cash, check, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or American Express).

Business hours at Mulhausen Music are 9am to 9pm Monday through Sunday, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY (no waiting to be served).

Mulhausen music serves Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Lake Counties.

Many, if not most of our competitors, rent and/or sell cheaply made, and difficult to play instruments from China. Don't be fooled by these instruments that rent/or sell at the same price, or more, than those at Mulhausen Music.

Any size violin or viola rents for $45 for 3 months (a rental fee that hasn't changed in over 30 years). Violins ae fitted to your child and are available in 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full size. They come most with Casperi pegs and string adjusters on all the strings, a sure sign of a quality instrument. Violas are also fitted to your child and are available in intermediate size. Our violins and violas have been chosen by a music educator with a master's degree in music performance. All our violins and violas are European made (e.g. German, Austrian, and Hungarian) which make them top quality, easy to play, and with the most pleasing sound possible.

All our violins and violas come with a durable hard shell, cushioned case, Glasser fiberglass bow, and rosin.

Our rent to own program is as follows: 3 rentals (9 months) can be applied to the purchase price of your instrument or any other new/used instrument that is available. Of course there is never any obligation to purchase an instrument.

All new and used instruments and accessories are sold at a 20% discount (except all rentals). All books are sold at a 10% discount.

All instrument brands have been approved by local school band teachers.
