Mulhausen Music was founded in June, 1975 with the purchase of a bankrupt music store in Eastlake, Ohio (east side of Cleveland) on a street (Vine Street) with two other music stores.

Some people, in and out of the music business, thought we would never survive with 2 other music stores on the same street but we have obviously survived and thrived for over 43 years.

Having taught music, private lessons, for 18 years, in 3 other music stores, the need for a music store based on quality, honesty, integrity, and service was needed and sorely lacking in the music business.

One of the additional reasons we have survived and thrived, is that we offer big discounts on everything we sell: 20% off all instruments (new and used except rentals), 20% off on all accessories, and 10% off on all music and music books. We also offer instrument repair service by a certified band instrument repair technician (same day or next day service in most cases).

We are unique in that we are open for business 7 days a week, 9am to 9pm, BY APPOINTMENT DAILY (no waiting). When many, if not most, "mom and pop" music stores have closed over the years, we look forward to many more future years of service.
